Exquisite Views on a Laid-Back Restaurant Barge on the Seine

Enjoy a meal on the Seine by hopping aboard the Rosa Bonheur Barge on the Seine (Péniche Rose Bonheur sur Seine). Normally a popular restaurant and bar nestled in the beautiful Buttes Chaumont park, the Rosa Bonheur is expanding, offering the same cozy ambiance on a barge docked on the Left Bank of the Seine, at the Port des Invalides.

Since June 28, 2014 the Rosa Bonheur sur Seine has been serving up a beautiful view along with delicious tapas. For example, patrons can enjoy fig tapenade, Serrano ham and Pélardon cheese. They can also try fruit-themed desserts, artisanal ice cream or a glass of rosé, the specialty of the barge.

Special wood-fired ovens have even been installed on the boat in order to offer authentic pizzas made to order. As a result, the environment on the boat is welcoming and laid-back. Those who feel playful can try out the Foosball tables. Those who feel the beat can step out onto the dance floor. Alternatively, patrons can just kick back on the terrace and enjoy the amazing views. The terrace is open every day from 11 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. The barge is open Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 2 a.m.

Guests staying at the Hôtel de la Tour Maubourg can experience lovely Parisian tapas and breathtaking views on the Rosa Bonheur sur Seine. All they have to do is head to the Voie sur Berge at the Port des Invalides on the Left Bank of the Seine.
