The Hotel de Latour Maubourg Paris suggests you to discover this incredible 220 sqm ice rink located on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Installed nearly 60 m above the Champs de Mars, this skating rink is open every day from 10:30 am to 10:30 pm, from December 15,2010 to February 9,2011.
Access is free for visitors of the Eiffel Tower, and no need to bring your skates (it is forbidden), some will be provided to you on the spot. Sledge-chairs are also provided for children.
Furthermore, this is an “interactive” ice rink, because thanks to a system of projected images on the ice and infrared sensors, skaters can produce visual effects by their move !
You could even enjoy a hot drink and a waffle at the ice bar located on the edge of the rink and accessible for skaters and also for the visitors of the monument.
